Are hort oils (such as Bonide All Seasons and Sunspray) safe to use when pregnant?

The label on the Bonide oil has warnings that make me think it's not ok, but it's just OIL right? What could the danger be?

If you use a respiator, it's pretty safe. You DO NOT want to inhale this into your lungs and get pneumonia.

Thanks HollySprings. That was what I figured, so I used a mask.

Hmmm. A "mask" may or may not be sufficient; they protect against particles.

A mask is different than a respirator as the latter protects against vapors. To protect against liquid sprays, you should use a respirator.

In the case of horticultural oil, the oil is emulsified in water and sprayed as droplets, so a mask should be sufficient for protection.
