Organic Rose Growing

I am surprised and saddened to find bug damage to my roses! I have aphids, little green flys that I think lay little green caterpillars which really eat the leaves like crazy. I also think the snails are partying too! so far thats all I can see. I am gratefull to the roses for taking the pressure off my veggies but hate to see them looking crappy too!

Caterpillars come from moth eggs, not flies. Those "little green flies" might be aphids with wings.
