As long as there's no overhang (roof of any sort) over your rose and it gets enough water and sun, you are fine. I had a rose squeezed between my house and the driveway (about 1 foot from both) and it was the happiest plant I've ever seen! You shouldn't probably plant closer than a foot from any building - just because it won't get enough rain, as for trellises - it can be right under, it won't care. Good luck with your rose.
