I have heard that coffee grounds are good for roses when sprinkled and worked into the soil. I would like to know how it works and how it improves the soil.
Thanks

It's a mild source of nitrogen, it adds organic matter to the soil which will lighten clay soils and help sandy soils be less porous, earthworms like it, etc., etc., it will not acidify the soil.

Check the Soil Forum, do a search on 'coffee grounds' all will be revealed.
