| I have a 1 yr old Orchid Masterpiece that has not bloomed yet this spring/early summer....nice and green not too much blackspot and definitely growing? How do I get it going??? By the way I am in NC |

| The most commonly sold version of OM is the climber which will not bloom until it's grown a lot of old wood to bloom off of. If you cut it back this spring, you probably won't get blooms. It's not terribly productive and doesn't repeat even when it does bloom. And, like most mauve roses, it's darn disease prone. YOu could give it some alfalfa tea, but OM isn't a rose I'd ever recommend for someone in a humid climate who doesn't spray. |

| Holly Springs....thanks OM is beautiful when it does bloom which it did last year. Mine is a climber btw.....not sure if I want to give it the time it needs I may replace it with Puerto Rico which I have waiting for a new home. 300 HT's WOW! |
