Please tell me why the petals of this rose are brown. I bought it a few years ago and didn't really take care of it till this year. Thank you in advance.

Botrytis. You have excess moisture in the air. Perhaps rain? Or do you commonly water overhead?

Yes, it looks like Botrytis petal blight. In Oklahoma, it will be a transient occurence in spring or fall-- doesn't like the heat.
