Alfalfa Extract Used for Tea?

Has anyone every heard of/tried using ALFALFA EXTRACT for making the alfalfa tea? Same idea as vanilla for cooking. Seems it would take much less per batch and would certainly be much easier to store. Has anyone ever tried this? What would be the drawbacks? Maybe it wouldn't ferment.

RE: Alfalfa Extract Used for Tea?

You would need to know if the extract still contained triacontanol, which is the growth stimulant that is released by "brewing" the tea or when alfalfa naturally ferments. No triacontanol, not useful.
