Lynnie or Basye's Blueberry

I have been interested in Basye's Blueberry because it is reported to be so carefree and to also be very fragrant. I noticed on the Ashdown website they have a rose named Lynnie that is supposed to be disease resistant and from the description is supposed to be fragrant and thornless but grows smaller than Basye's Blueberry. I am wondering if anyone can compare these two roses for me. I have heard that BB is truly thornless and very fragrant, but haven't heard much about Lynnie, so am wondering about the fragrance and if it really is thornless.

Thanks for any info,
Frances

RE: Lynnie or Basye's Blueberry

I have a own root blueberry that i just got this year. its surviving, so with someone that gives a little more tlc than i do it would probably do fine. Haven't noticed any discernable problems other than when it gets cold at night the leaves end up being yellow. Beautiful blooms and nice smell. We'll see, ask again in the spring:)
