| Make your soil healthy, but you will not be able to stay away from "chemicals" since that Insecticidal Soap is a "chemical". The water you apply to your garden is a "chemical". |

| More precisely, H2O is a chemical, though "water" is not a "chemical".. and even water is not a single chemical ☺ |

| I'm just popping in here, but what is the proper use of words to explain that you do not want to use harmful chemicals? "Harmful" is not a scientific word, and certain companies will claim that anything is harmful, just like you just did with water. Without going into boring detail, do any of you know an appropriate, but descriptive term? Sammy |

chem·i·cal (km-kl) adj. 1. Of or relating to chemistry. 2. Of or relating to the properties or actions of chemicals. n. 1. A substance with a distinct molecular composition that is produced by or used in a chemical process. 2. A drug, especially an illicit or addictive one and asprin. In laymens terms this means anything that is one atom in size sharing a free electron with a second atom is a chemical as it reads from an english dictonary it also indicats that man makes this free electron share it's self with a different atom to form a common bond, Example H2O is a common bond of one atom sharing a free electron with anouther. As nature made H2O on it's own it must be in accordance to natural laws be concidered to be an organic chemical under natural chemicals laws the list will include things like air and gravity this list is very very long and still hasn't even peaked at DNA Yawn Yawn Yawn Fungus and bactrias are both organics Fun fact: The apple, like many other flowering fruit trees, is a member of the large rose family, which also includes pears, cherries, plums, peaches, apricots, almonds and hawthorns which are many favorite spring-flowering trees. The family resemblance can be seen in their flowers: All of these trees have fragrant, five-petaled, star-shaped blossoms that look very much like small wild roses. As with roses, humans have bred some varieties of these plants to have extra petals, which appeal to human eye. |

| I teach Spanish and English, and do not understand chemistry or what you said. Are you saying that trees and roses are chemicals too? Poison ivy must be a harmful chemical, I guess. Sammy |

H2O (water) two hydrogen atoms bonded with one oxygen atom with out mans help but did bond naturally making it organic Cho3 ( chlorine ) is 1 carbon atom 1 hydrogen atom and 3 oxygen atoms that where forced to bond by man and is not organic. As it is common practice for some local towns and cities to use cho3 to kill harmfully organic and non organic bacteria in water this water would be non organic ** the more demanding use of ultra violet rays to clean same water problems with added uses of organic sands and filtering is quickly replacing this old technic poison ivy is a natural occurrence although it can be harmful to many it is organic Natural gas is organic even after they put the odor in it because it to hybrid plants and trees do not possess man forced atoms or molecules and are organic how they make hybrids is a forced DNA exchange from the same family of plants or trees. Example : a shot gun wedding with an ending result of a mother and father having two children each child will vary in some degree in DNA both children are still organic even if they had Identical twins there will still be a varying degree of difference in DNA None organics do have the same exact DNA a result of there forced atomic and or molecular structure no product plant animal fish bird or insect can possess both organic DNA and non organic atoms, molecules or atoms and still be organic Please try to excuse Kim she is only trying to re-invent the wagon wheel which is organic be the good day ! |

| zyperiris, do you have a organic headache? . (LOL) Harmful Chemicals can be defined as: something that causes death and destruction to any living thing. If water drowns an insect, then you have used a harmful chemical. (LOL) PS. (I'm only kidding,) as some things can not be helped in life. JIM |
