Last Fertilizer Application of the Season?

| Yesterday I just applied a mixture of rose-tone, peace-of-mind and a little extra alfalfa to all my roses. I've putting rose- tone and/or peace-of-mind monthly since mid-April. In addition, been adding alfalfa every three weeks or so, and coffee grounds on no specific schedule. They have received 3 applications of Alfalfa Tea+. About every two weeks or so I also water them with a solution of fish emusion, kelp and a little molassas.
My question is: should that be enough for the season? I am in SE Michigan, winters are rough. My only additional plan is th maybe give each a little bone meal and wood ashes early/mid September. |

Never add anything that could stimulate new growth to a plant growing in Michigan after August 1 since that new growth will not always harden enough for winter. What can be added after August 1 is compost or a shredded leaf mulch. What is the reason you think your soil might need bone meal or wood ash? |
