This bee post from Zyperiris reminded me to post about the wonderful job that Haagen-Dasz is doing with the bees. In their website they are promoting the welfare of the bees.

full website on Haagen-Dazs

They also have a direct link in which you can donate directly to Pennsylvania State University and the University of California-at-Davis for funding bee research and for helping our beloved honeybees.

direct link to the actual universities who fund bee research

I actually found this site when buying my favorite Haagen-Dazs chocolate-and-almond bars from Costco. I saw this really cute bee sticker and I thought hmmmmm, I have to take a closer look at this and googled...

Funny thing is I was sharing a Haagen-Dazs last night and snacking on it while we where watching Alton Brown telling us every thing he knows about honey and bees in general. As soon as I started to pre announcing his next words and facts did earn me a couple nudges and a hush. As I was just about to post the same idea thread three plus hours after you.
funny part of this is. I now know all women think alike I get the hint lol.

Thanks for the posting a be kind to bees thread

LOL! that is so funny that your wife and I enjoy the food channel! My favorite show is the Iron Chef of America, and yes they too featured honey as their secret ingredient, LOL!

By the way, Wes, I did send you a few emails here and there. Be sure to check your junk mail folder. Gardenweb will consistently send emails to the junk mail, LOL! they never did get that problem resolved. I had thanked you for the wonderful link you sent me...
