Organic Rose Growing

Dormant Rugosas

I have some hybrid Rugosas that were planted this past spring and got a nasty outbreak of BS. Now, I know that they will NOT tolerate spraying during the growing season, but will they put up with dormant spraying?

I'd really hate to have them screw up the others that stay clean! (Kinda strange, usually it's the reverse!)

Bear in mind that I've never found it to be necessary and have never done it, but for the life of me I can't see how spraying a dormant rugosa hybrid (one with no foliage at all) could hurt anything.

Thanks, Field! I didn't think that it would hurt once all the leaves were off, but I've never had to spray (on purpose, OOPS!) my rugosas before.
