WANTED: dinnerplate roses

When I was young we had a large rose bush that had huge yellow to pink rose blossoms as large as a dinner plate. Their fragrance was exquisit. I am looking for them again. I don't know what they are called, but they must be an old strain.

Does anyone have this for trade?

Are you sure they were roses? When I was a kid my mother grew dinnerplate dahlias..I think that might be what you're thinking of? donna
