HAVE: Free Rose Seeds From Unknowns - 1 trade only

Hello,

I would like to offer someone some rose seeds from some unknown roses.

Please keep in mind that these are tough roses, but the flowers are short-lived and not suitable for vases.

** These rose seeds will still be in the hips **

I will pull them and allow them to dry for several hours before I mail them.

** They have had systemic fertilizer on the parent plants for about a month **

i.e. not edible, just in case you need to know this.

I will send them in small plastic seed bags labeled with the type of rose, so there will only be a couple hips of each variety.

I have a couple seed hips from:

This climbing rose. It has long straight thorns and the red flowers fade to fuschia. The flowers average about 3 inches, but can be larger. This came in a trade as William Baffin, it isn't, but still well worth keeping. It is a repeater.

This is a red poly rambler. Has small poly-sized flowers. I'm not normally a fan of small singles, but this is a good repeater - even for me. When I first saw it the leaves had turned so red in fall it hid the flowers, but I have yet to see it repeat this feat. The original came from a commercial site. And from cuttings that the gardener was trimming (yes, permission was granted). The original plants are no longer there. This is a very good plant for me and rooted easily.

As I said I will send a couple hips of each in small plastic seed bags.

I will send them at my own cost in a recycled envelope.

Please post here first. If you are the first one to post, please e-mail me an addy and your GW alias so I can get them out to you.

I have just the one for the offer.

Thanks,

Marbree
