Hello greenhrs,...thanks for your interest! I live in Auvergne, not to far from Grenoble I should say. I save empty plastic water- or sodabottles, cut of the tops, fill them with a mixture of terreau,some gardensoil, some sand,... The cuttings look like sticks, I scrape some skin away or cut them as you do cutflowers at the bottem and stick them into the bottles, give them 1'5 cup of water each and keep them on the windowsill....amazing, leaves come within a week!! These are so called 'winterhardwoodcuttings'.If they fit in, I sometimes tape the bottletop back on, but take it of when they grow up.
