They're going to be dumb, so please bear with me. Late last winter, as I was pruning the roses, I was thinking that it is such a waste to toss all those canes away. Is it possible to root them? From the reading I've done, that doesn't appear to be the idea time or material to attempt rooting with, but has anyone attempted it or had any success?

Also, are there any particular class of roses that are easy to root? If I'm going to try this, it will more than likely be on some OGRs (I have some Teas, Chinas, HPs, etc.).
