very nice big white bloom. would love to have more to give out and to keep. any methods of propogations? anything is open, particuraly water rooting, because im lazy. its still dormant in the pot i bought it in, so if roots are involved now would be a good time. you dont always have to have the flower on the plant sample your about to propagate right, because ive tried it with other roses and it doesnt work very well. a couple of care questions also, how much do i have to cut it back when it dies? thats about it other care tips would be useful as well

RE: Prop'n 'Garden Party' Roses

I am new at rooting roses (took my first cuttings last November), but have had good success. My cuttings were from my Father-in-law, and included Garden Party. Unfortunately, Garden Party was not one of my successes. I have 100+ miniatures in gallon pots, and around 30 others, mostly Hybrid Teas. I used intermittent mist in a 2' x 6' bed, elevated 2' above the ground. Medium was sand with a bit of compost. Plan to try Garden Party again this Spring.
