I have around 80 seedlings of Earth Song, 30 or so of the 4th of July, a few of Heritage, Golden Showers, Carefree Sunshine and some unknown. Mine are doing fine but are much shorter than yours as I have them outside. Have some of them potted up but many more still in the seed flats. Just what I am going to do with that many is still a question. Have you noticed that there are so many differences in the look of seedlings from the same bush?

I have noticed quite a few obvious differences. On the RR's 2 of the taller ones already have vicious looking little prickles and the 3rd appears to be thornless. Some of the leaves open with a red tinge, others yellow. Some of the stems have a reddish tint others all green. Could go on, but, yeah, I notice differences in each one.
Wish it was warm enough to put mine outside LOL...I'm ready for winter to be over. I can't believe the amount of seedlings you have. I'm happy with what I have but would be ecstatic over that many.

Question is what am I going to do with so many???? I feel as if I already need to buy stock in a potting soil company. Would be nice if my only addiction was roses but unfortunately it also includes all plants. I am just so anxious for mine to start to bud. Are you fertilizing yours yet? I am watering mine with a weak fertilizer about once a week or so.

I've been fertilizing with a weak mixture of water and Schultz liquid plant food once a week.
I'm still not sure if that is a bud or some leaflets, it seems to be at a standstill...of course. LOL
For some reason the last 3 Fourth of July's I've had sprout have been weak and sort of limp. Put them under grow lights to try and help them come out of it.
