Hi everyone..I normally hangout at the wintersowing pages and Canadian pages. I just received a very generous seedpack for sasbe, but can't use the rose seeds. I have two packages of "Multiflora Rose" (rosa multiflora) and "Prickly Wild Rose".
Would anyone here want them? I'll gladly send them on.
p.s. upon googling mutiflora, it looks somewhat invasive. Should I just toss them?

| I would love your prickly wild rose, but I would say not to toss the multiflora rose, but to burn it in order to make sure that the seeds don't spread in your garbage dump |

| Yes, burn the multiflora. It is not somewhat invasive, but will take over and is hard to kill. It can also carry the mites that cause Rose Rosette Disease. I have multiflora bushes that are 25 or 30 ft tall and have been fighting them for 20 years. Between them and the honeysuckle, it is a non-stop battle to keep them from taking over!
