root stock for grafting

Looking for source for multiflora rootstock for grafting.

Want to attempt grafting for first time this year and am assuming I need a clean source of multiflora rootstock rather than what grows around me wild. Or, if wild dug is okay, what age, size, shape am I looking for? Any suggestions and a good instructional source would be appreciated. Have good success

rooting cutting, just feel many roses get off to a better start grafted, esp. in colder areas.

Hey I realize this post is a little old but. I caught the propagation bug and would like to try it. Any idea what type of Multiflora stock it is? I live in the texas coast area real hot and Humid. So I would like to find some that would work well down here. I am rooting everything right now just for fun. So I guess it is time to move up to grafting and budding.
