Help! I am in NY, last year I stuck a number of rose cuttings in my herb garden to propagate. Many died, but two seem to have "struck". I don't know what they are,but both are growing straight up. One is about a foot tall, the other is already two feet tall. Now the problem is, I don't like them in my herb garden any longer. I want more room for the herbs. It's very sunny there, and the soil is well amended with compost,so I can see why they love it there. When's the best season to move a rapidly growing rose bush(no flowers)? I am afraid to move them now, since they are actively growing. Is there a "dormant" period? Should I wait to early or late fall?
