HELP!-My Electronic Water Timer Broke!!!!!!

Hi everyone,just in the middle of misting a batch of cuttings,my melnor model 3060 has given up the ghost,water flooded the battery compartment and fried it.Luckily it is cloudy today,so the cuttings are okay,but I need to find a replacement asap.Tried the local Home Depot and they don't carry them anymore.Any recommendations on timers or where to get one quickly would be greatly appreciated.It needs to cycle on and off many many times per day,2 minutes on then off.

| I got a great one at walmart, believe it not..it can cycle as close together as every 15 minutes..it was very cheap..10 or 15 dollars..can't remember the brand, but it is black and yellow..(dark outside now or I'd go look)..walmart only sells 2 or 3 differnt ones, so it shouldn't be hard to find. mine has been in use for about 9 months, and is still working..not bad for the price. good luck, Donna |

| Hi Donna,thanks.I ran out and found a timer at Canadian Tire,Walmart didn't have much,and this timer has a two year warranty.Bruce |

| too late our home depot still has the melnor. I use the same timer. |

| I am taking mt new timer back to the store tonight,cuttings were looking poor so I watched and it wasn't cycling.Set it again,it cycled but then quit again.May have to get another melnor,or i was also looking at the Nelson model. |
