Question about rooted cutting.

Shouldn't a rooted cutting look exactly like the rose it came from? I had a couple of cuttings that just bloomed but look nothing like any of my roses. The cuttings go back to Jan. 2013 or Spring 2012. The tags are faded so don't what they came from. I haven't done cutting exchanges since 2007 so this cutting must be from one of mine. The color is like Brandy but not the bloom. And the cuttings have 7 leaves. I have a few bushes with 7 leaves but don't look like this. It also has a really strong tea fragrance which I don't think Brandy has.

Do you get variations with cuttings especially if they are only a year or two old?
Thanks.
