Small clipping growing roots and small leaves

My neighbor ripped up her front yard, and got rid of a nice rose bush that I always admired. Unfortunately I didn't get there in time to take the whole bush. I managed to sneak away with a small clipping that already had two thin roots about 1" long hanging off the bottom of it.

I placed the cutting into a pot with a jar over it. It has been sitting there for about a month, and I'm seeing some tiny leaves beginning to sprout off of the stem. I gently dug down to see if the roots had grown, and they've gotten longer and stronger.

My question is, what should I do now? Should I remove the glass jar?

Any advice is appreciated!
