Very prickly rose bushes

I have a couple of those too. I've hated them since my husband brought them home. Guess who does the pruning. They're so prickly, I've thought of using them as security around the perimeter of our yard. Moving them could be a battle that I think the rose bushes would win.

Get in touch with your local Medieval society/club (aka Society for Creative Anachronism) and see if you can borrow somebody's armor or chain mail. While you're borrowing it you can pick yourself some wild blackberries.
