Well, congratulations!

Many HTs do poorly own-root because they were propagated solely by budding & it wasn't important that they grow their own roots well. But since you got a rooted baby, this one may do just fine.

If it's still in a little cutting pot, re-pot it in good potting soil in a 1-2 gallon size pot. Personally, I'd grow it in a pot for another year or at least until it replaces its top growth that got knocked off, but lots of folks put well rooted babies straight in the ground. Think I'd just keep it well watered for a few weeks since it went through such a rough "pruning".

I'd gradually acclimatize it to outdoors--roses do very poorly inside for long. Stick it in a lightly shaded place sheltered from strong wind & full sun (& deer if you have them). Gradually move it to a sunnier spot over a 2-3 week period, keeping it well watered. If you go straight to the ground now, be sure to water deeply & mulch well.
