I did it!!!

I did it!!! I propagated my first rose AND it was my fist try! Last year, tward the end of summer, a relative gave me a cutting of one of her roses. I didnt have any rooting hormone, so I put it in one of my beds and put a glass canning jar over it. The bed is in a protected site and is like a little micro-climate. The cutting had a nice big bloom on the end when I got it. I took the jar off before winter, mulched around the cutting, and put a bucket over it. I looked at it this spring at it had three new leaves comming on it!!! I am soooo thrilled (I think I may have a new hobby ;)). I have a question though....what would be the soonest time I could move this start? Would next spring be good? I want to make sure the root system is developed before moving it. Thanks!
