| i want the "california dreamin" rose, but it seems that no one can send me the cuttings because it is patented.
the cheapest one that i have seen that is sold at a local store is $22.95. i wonder how much those roses are sold at your local area? |
Follow-Up Postings:
|
| That sounds quite reasonable for a container grown nursery specimen. Many places charge at least $10 more than that. |
|
| New introductions typically cost more the first year or two. Here, newer varieties range from $17 - $27 potted and depending on the size of the plant. If you can be patient, wait until this fall and see how much the bareroot vendors want for it (these vendors like Regan Nursery, S&W Greenhouses, Witherspoon Nursery, Edmunds, Pickering and Palatine, open for ordering in the fall for delivery the following winter/spring). |
