How long for cuttings

I started with 3 cuttings of my mons rose bush. I have no idea what kind of roses they are, they were there when my parents bought the house over 50 years ago. Two of these cutting have died, but the third is still green and has all of the leaves. The leaves still look healthy.

Unfortunately, I didn't see the instruction for planting in a plastic bag until after I started this, so I planted it in a regular pot with a plastic bag over it. It will be five weeks since I planted the cuttings on Sunday. They don't show any new growth yet and I was wondering how long I should wait before I take the plastic bag off and where will I first see new growth coming from.

Sorry if this message is a little unorganized, I didn't get much sleep last night. Thanks, Sue

What matters is roots. Sometimes the cutting will sprout new growth without growing any roots. Just leave it until you can see roots coming out of the bottom of the pot. Sometimes it can take 2 or 3 months.
