| This is a 6" tall 'Marmalade Skies' seedling, that is blooming already.
It's one of 4 seedlings that were wintersown this year. The other three are an inch shorter, and also have buds, one each. Is it harmful for the plants to be blooming at such a small size? Should I snip off the buds to force them to concentrate on root and foliage development, rather than making flowers and hips? Thanks in advance. |

| I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Most of my seedlings are putting out blooms at a few inches tall and it doesn't seem to stunt their growth at all. |
