 o
can you grow cuttings from a hybrid rose?

My Mom and I are starting new rose gardens after moving and leaving behind 20 year old rose gardens that were previously planted. We have have two homes on five acres in So. Calif
wine country (zone 8b). We love roses and want to have a large variety in our gardens. Friends have offered cuttings to us so that we don't have to buy all our roses new. Can this be done with all varieties and how? We are newbies to this and would appreciate any info!
Thank you!

You can try it with all varieties, but note that some varieties root easier than others, so don't be too discouraged if there are just some that you can't get started. There will be plenty of others that will do just fine.
