Starting from hips for the 1st time. HELP!

Posted by jerryngeorgia31557 8 (jerryfkimbrell@yahoo.com) on

I just purchased 3 roses that everyone is buying now, Knock-Out roses, but, these are new, they are runners. When I got them home they are loading down with orange/reddish hips. Should I remove the hips now? If so what do I do with them? Should I start the stratification? I really do not know what to do. HELP?

Hello,
If they are this seasons hips & orange/red I would say they are ripe and ready.
I have included a link on how to grow roses from seed.

Here is a link that might be useful: Can I Grow Roses from Seed? How?
