impressionist climber rose not growing

Hi Everybody,
I am new to rose growing , but learning ....

I ordered the impressionist rose from heirloom roses in june this year and planted it as per their instructions. My question to you is the plant has not shown any new growth since....it is as is .... even some of its old leaves has yellowed and fallen off....it does have some green leaves on too....but there is not new growth....

what should i do ??

is it dead??

drrose, best to post over on the main Roses Forum so that more people can see your question. This forum is for propagation and exchanges.

Your new rose might be growing roots instead of top growth. How often are you watering? Have you fertilized? How much sun is it receiving? Are the canes still green?

Impressionist is a very slow grower the first year...
