i understand about the grafting, the rootstock, and making the bud eye grafts on top, what is used for the main stem?do any of you know of a site that explains this in detail? thank you, donna

RE: how is a tree rose made?

My understanding is that modern grafters use something like Dr. Huey as the rootstock, then they graft a long main stem on of something like De La Grifferaie, then they graft on the top.

I don't have any links for it handy, sorry!
