Hi, I'm relatively new here. I'm attempting to expand my rose garden, and as such am in the hunt for some cuttings to start additional bushes from.

Right now, all I have for trade are cuttings from my singular rose bush. I don't know what it's name is, it's a bit of a family heirloom and has been passed down for 3 generations now. It's extremely hardy and has a light pink blossom. I'd be happy to provide a picture if you're at all interested! If not, I'd be happy to provide SASE/postage money if you have any roses you happen to be trimming back.

I'd be interested in seeing pics of your rose. Would it be a climber? Or what growing habit would you say it has. I'm looking for some climbers that can withstand our heat/droughts.

So, where abouts are you located in Texas?

Glad to hear someone else loves Old Garden Roses...I have several of them, but will always welcome a 'new' one...I would love to see a photo...or you may want to try and find it on HelpMeFind which has a growing photo collection of roses...

I have the historic New Dawn Climber (1600s), Old Blush, Nearly Wild, White Lady Banksia, Marianne and Red Cascade...all are hardy in most parts of Texas. I do have six more OGR, but the names have not been researched yet...and cuttings are being rooted of all of them..and they should be ready by December for transplant....if you are interested, please contact me directly via email...thanks.
