If no one has told you yet I would move them into a three to five gallon pot. They can spend the winter in that size of pot easily here. If you leave them in the 9 inch pot be sure to keep it near the house and bring it in at night when it is supposed to be below around 28F at night. I have overwintered roses in those little band size pots here and had them do fine as long as they are not left out in real cold weather.
