Soda Bottle Propagation

| I read about using the 2 liter soda bottle for starting cuttings from a link on one of the threads. I did it a little differently using the bottle as the pot and the cut top as the lid pushed back into the bottle.
That is really some keen thinking. I started some cutting about two weeks ago and they look fantastic. Some have new shoots nearly an inch long. The clear bottle really helps me not to tug on the cuttings to see if there is root development. That was probably one of the biggest reasons for my failures.
Hats off to whomever originally thought of it. |

| Hmm... that sounds like a brilliant method. Easy, clean, and efficient (because, as you pointed out, you can check on the root development without disturbing the cutting) |
