| I wish to get some roses with a radio theme for my husband's birthday next month. So far, all I know is the rose named Radio Times.

| Missouri's own Mary Margaret McBride had a popular radio show in the 1940s. I think she was the Oprah of her day. The rose named after her was one of the early AARS winners. |

| Well, the behavior of electrons was one of the keys that led to the transistor. So "Electron" might be a suitable choice. There is also a rose called "Murray Hill" (Bell Labs building where team worked on the transistor), but it isn't in commerce. |

| You might try roses named after musicians who got established on radio: Dolly Parton and Minnie Pearl come to mind. |
