Trailing rose from cutting wont bloom

I planted a cutting from an old trailing rose taken from an old property. It included some roots. Gave two away. Had them in pots for 6 months then put in ground about 4 months ago All three are growing like crazy, all up on trellis. None have bloomed. What should we expect? Any info would be appreciated thanks.

It is probably a once bloomer that blooms spring/early summer. Don't prune it more than lightly, and see if it blooms next year.

Thanks mad_gallica. We will try to be patient. The vine/ leaves are small.
It had a small pink flower when we saw it.

Some climbing roses do not bloom until they have reached the size they deem appropriate. I rooted a cutting of Belle Portugaise (hybrid gigantica) once, and it did not bloom at all, ever, until its fourth Spring, by which time it was 15 feet tall. I am so glad I waited - it has had a long bloom every year since then, and is absolutely gorgeous.
