Carefree Sunshine seedlings

Posted by gerry_wyomingpa z6 NEPA (My Page) on

I let my CS produce hips this year, they are huge with 'seeds' about the size of a pea. I am wondering if anyone has tried to grow this from OP seeds and what their results were/are. I can find no information on the lineage of CS, so I am wondering just what might pop up in it's ancestry and show up on the babies.

Can anyone report and perhaps share pictures?

Hi Gerry, I think CS is a result of 2 "seedling" parents. Might check
Have you asked at the rose hybridizers website? Good Luck

Thank you for a link to that site, it is a new one on me, and I like it.
