Mr. Lincoln seeds

My daddy's Mr. Lincoln made big hips with seeds - is it possible to get these to germinate? I'd really like to surprise him with some babies in the spring.
Thanks,
Christina

Christina, yes, you can try to germinate them. There have been a couple of recent threads on the subject. Note that Mr. Lincoln is a hybrid, so you results probably won't look like Mr. Lincoln at all, so don't throw away any of the seedlings until you see them bloom (prob. won't be the first year). But you may get something really cool, try it!

I want to grow a few rose seeds and find one I can name Turkish Delight.
