Finally started the huge job of cutting back my very vigorous cemetary find rambler (which I've recently decided is Dorothy Perkins) and found 3 stems had rooted when they touched the ground. These look like they are a couple years old at least...look to be nice gallon size if they had been started in pots. One has two very long shoots so I would send it in a tube mailer. The other two are shorter with many branches. I haven't dug them up to see how big the root systems are but I expect they could be shipped bare root this time of year so would fit in a prepaid mailer.
Would like to trade for similar size starts of z5 hardy roses or vintage roses that I don't have. A special wish is Austin rose Graham Thomas.
Heres the list of what I already have:
New Dawn, climbing Peace, and Mary Lovett
Plus, I just ordered the following for spring delivery from Vintage Gardens:
Illusion
Raubritter
Duchess of Portland
Cécile Brunner, Cli.
Constance SpryÂ
William ShakespeareÂ
Mme. Hardy
Ferdinand Prichard
and for backup if any of those can't be shipped:
Centifolia Variegata
Cristata
Stanwell Perpetual
Louise Odier
