On George Mander's site "Own-Root Cuttings Setup" it looks like the cutting have been dusted with some type of powder.
I would like to know if others use some type of dusting powder to control disease in new cutting. I keep getting spider mites and was think that I should be dusting my cuttings. |

| The powder you see is probably rooting hormone, there are many brands, just google "rooting hormone". Rooting hormone won't do a thing for spider mites..I am not 100% sure, but I would think that you have to treat the mother bushes so that they are clean before you take cuttings. Donna |
