want Veteran's Honor cutting

Does anyone have Veterans Honor rose cuttings to trade.
Needs to be hardwood cuttings at least 8 inches, but preferably a little longer. I root by sticking about 4 or 5 inches deep in soil.
I don't have any luck with tip or softwood cuttings.

Hi Ruth,

I have a good size specimen of VH that needs to be pruned between now and the end of February. I am interested in cuttings of the rose 'September Morn' if it the old (1913) hybrid tea with a high petal count. I am also interested in your Brugsmanias. I may be interested in a larger trade. I over 200 roses and have spares on some rooted cuttings as well as a good number of choice named perennials from Bluestone-mostly veronicas, asters, chrysanthemums, etc.

John, if you decide to prune your VH now, I would love to have cuttings. My only success with rooting roses seems to be starting hardwood cuttings in November.
Last year I pruned mine in February and tried to root lots of cuttings with no success.
September Morn is new this year from Rogue Valley Roses, but isn't big enough for cuttings yet.
I've just finished trading some Brugmansia cuttings and won't be able to take more cuttings of some species.
Let me know what your interested in and I'll check.

Hi John.

I too would love to have a cutting of your VH rose. I first saw it back in June (at our local Park of Roses) and fell in love. However, I spent all summer looking for it at a local nursery but no one had even heard of it. I have nothing to trade, but would be willing to pay for postage if you're inclined.

Sincerely,
Kate
