Back by popular demand!!! It's time again for my annual Acres Edible Seed Swap. This will the 10th year I do this swap. Has it been 10 years wow gosh that's amazing. I enjoy it so much I hope to be able to do it for another 30 or 40 years. Ha Ha!! Last year around 45 people and over 1500 seed packages were involved and a lot of fun was had by all . NOW THE RULES All seeds must produce edibles. (veggie, herbs and fruit found in an edible garden). If you are unsure if its edible please ask. All seeds must be clearly marked and packed correctly. All seed packages should contain enough seed to try out that particular edible. (If you send in packs with 5 seeds in them you will received packs back with 5 seeds in then. I MAKE THIS SWAP FAIR!!!!) You will receive at least the amount of packages you send in most likely more.. You must send a wish list if your except to receive certain seeds back. You must attach the correct amount of postage to the self addressed stamped bubble mailer or address labels and stamps to get the mailer back to you. You must send your full name on the mailer , mailing address, garden web name and email address on a card or added to your lists. This helps me a lot. A list of seeds you sent is recommenced. This helps so you don�t get your own seeds back.. One person must not send in more than 3 copies of one certain seed. One person must not send in more than 50 seed packages. Extras will be used as freebies. all mailers are due at my house by January 31th. Packages will be filled in order of arrival. All mailers will leave my house headed back to you by February 11th. Sorry for all the rules it just makes a better and more organized swap and a lot easier if rules are involved. With only my self doing the swap as much information I can get is the best. Plenty of time to sign up and get your seeds to me by Jan 31. Also some one emailed and had a valid question so I wanted to post it to help or clarify any confusion. All swaps seem to be a little different. This swap the seeds are sent in a bubble mailer with everything listed in the rules. Then you include extra postage to get that mailer back to you. Most people that I know of weigh the mailer after its full of stuff your sending in then attach the postage into the mailer, you think with get that mailer back to you. There are usually 40 to 50 people in this swap and would be crazy for me to cover the postage. All extra postage that is sent is used to cover the mailers that did not post enough postage. It usually works out. I still always have to throw in 5 or so dollars to cover heavy mailers. Any other questions please feel free to ask. :) Acres

| Take care of yourself, Purpleacres, and take your time. Very few edibles need to be started right now; even here in AL we won't be starting cool weather veggies for at least a few weeks yet. |

| Purpleacres, I doubt that anyone involved in this swap will care if it takes you a few extra days to send the seeds back to us. Everyone has unexpected things come up in their lives that require attention. Just do what you need to do and let the seeds wait. |

| Hi, folks - Purpleacres asked me to post, as she is having trouble with her computer. She is working on both her swaps. She hopes to have the AcresEdibles swap returns in the mail next week, with a target date of before the 14th of February. | howdee I did not fall off the edge of the world and this swap is right on shedule despit my best friend's passing and my computer exploding. I am on a brand new lap top. I have no forms from this swap or any other info email and what not. I have recieved 28 mailers for this swap and will have then in the mail by the 11th like stated above :). I will also start a new post stating the swap is out. I can not thank Drippy enough for her help reguarding this swap and her posting when I was un able too. Back to the seeds Acres |
