UPDATE: Acres Edible seed swap

Howdee

After going through over 1400 packages of seeds that were sent in. That's not counting the pile I contributed. The acres edible seed swap will be shipped out headed to all who sent in. I will go to the post office the 19th and send them. (Monday is a holiday). This swap was a great fun to put on and I hope everyone will be please of what they receive. I did my best with wish lists. I wish some of you would of sent in bigger mailers. Rather hard shoving 70 packages of seed into the smallest mailer ever. Hahaha Some of you only received what the mailer would hold and I am sorry for that. I wont say anything about the 11 that did not participate 37 people out of 48 is not bad. One did email me about it though so that's good :-)

I had great fun with this swap as I have for the last 6 years putting on this acres swap. I will surely post another swap of this nature next time this year.

Acres, thank you so much! Having just finished hosting a big swap, I know the work involved. I am psyched - I'm moving to a new place with a longer growing season, so I'm looking forward to growing lots of edibles. I'm sure I'll be thrilled when my package arrives.

Acres, I am so new to all of this that I can't honestly say I know much about how much work it is to hold a swap like this... but reading the posts gives me a small idea of how much effort you put in to this.
THANK YOU!!! I am with ourhappyhome doing a little 'seed dance'.. can't wait to see that I get :)

My seeds arrived today! What a selection. I'm going to be growing things I have never grown before (and some I've never heard of before- Aztec Half Runner bean- also known as a "potato bean" a what?). Thanks everyone for sharing and thank you Acres for hosting this swap. This has been a lot of fun.

My seeds arrived today as well. I was totally thrilled with the variety in the selections. My dh is already planning extra garden space to accomodate all the goodies.

So happy people are getting there mailers soo quicky. I put a good amount of work into this swap and sure hope you all got some of what you wanted.

I have that lovely flu bug so Im off with a mug of tea and a book and will most likly fall asleep before my tea is cold

Happy Gardening and I love doing these swap. All the sweet people in this swap are such good people

No sign of my seeds. Sure hope I added enough postage.

Every one of my latest trades have arrived later than expected. Its really beginning to get to me. I received seeds yesterday from a trade mailed on Feb 11. The stamp was dated Feb 11! What's going on?

Sure hope my package arrives soon.

so happy you all are getting your seeds in a timely matter. This one was a fun one to put on. I will be making it a requirement that you all send in larger mailers so there are less extras. Its good for the nebies tho. I put up a post for newbies and have Three huge mailers ready to go out. I will have more later too
