Well things are ok, just a little shocked. Turns out the reason for the extra morning sickness is... twins. mr fishy is .... goofy-happy. I finally got him to let me get outta bed when I threatened to sue for false imprisionment. He called his doc to tell him the viagra worked (I laughed the whole time). This weekend we're looking at 4 bedroom houses (we thought we needed room b4 this). I made him swear to not smother me, we'll see how well he does.

I am coming down with a cold, and my poor litle miss Lily has a nasty one. Poor thing! She fell asleep a little while ago watching her Diego DVD - hopefully some rest will help her feel better!

I lost another 5 pounds this week, so I am thrilled! I know the big numbers won't keep coming, but 10 pounds is a great start to a much larger number!!

Bunny - that is so sad that you have had to pay for all the dental bills yourselves! Did they at least give you a discount, since you are paying out of pocket? We have a teaching hospital and dental school in Iowa City, and if our state funded insurance doesn't cover this, we will probably go there, as they do everything on a sliding scale, if I understand correctly. But, that's a much longer drive, which means much more gas $$, so hopefully we can get it all done in Des Moines!

Those bulbs are so cute!! I should try forcing some inside. I've never done that. Fun!!

We are broiling cod for supper for the first time tonight. Before, we have always deep fat fried our battered fish (except last week I baked some battered kind), so this will be different! I am going to try a cornmeal coating though, before going totally plain. I don't think I'm even ready for that, sadly! Anyway, off to see how all this is going to work!

Well I think he has called the whole state to inform them of the pregnacy (he can be such a goober). I reminded him it's the father's DNA that picks gender, he swears he "got it right"... goober.

When he hung up I just HAD to point out, he phoned his doc to tell him he was having sex. Boy did he blush.

I'm working on the whole earth-mother zen vibe right now. In a few months we'll schedule the delivery. I knew the second I told him, everyone would know, so I enjoyed this last week of peace. I broke the news to my staff over our weekly meeting today, and will need to hire a summer-semester teacher to cover my classes, so we discussed that (I'll be more and more stuck in my office as I progress). I just bought a new bikini too, darn it. Tomorrow we go house shopping, thank goodness my credit's good, it looks like it'll be a pain to get any sort of loan.

well fishy, we'll all send you good thinking vibes!! :')) make sure it has lots of garden space!! LOL you'll need it for all them seeds!! Medo, I love the coffee! The flavored coffees are my favorite, I've never tried hazelnut before....b'c I don't like the nuts themselves!! LOL Funny, huh? Hubby loves 'em, but I can't stand them. Like the smell, but not the taste! But the coffee surprised me, I really do love it! I've made 3 pots full so far, and haven't shared a drop! LOL
Oh, and my sinus's have FINALLY opened up. (yay!) I can taste & smell again. Wooo-hooo! So in answer to your question about the hyacinth...it's got a light sweet smell to it. It's very strong, but not over powering. Does that make sense? It's really light & sweet...but strong. LOL No good with descriptions, am I?? :O)

LOL i'm the same way!! LOL the tea tree oil that i sent, i use to keep the virus's and stuff away, along with the sinus infections wich hubby gets. i drop a few drops in a pot of water and let it simmer and just let it do that all the time. so its a pot that your willing to ruin. the stuff reminds me of campo phonic. LOL but it really works good. we don't get sick and he hasn't had a sinus infection in ages, although he'll really gripe me out about the smell, in which i'll really remind him that he hasn't had a sinus infection for a while. so that's why i sent it to ya :'))
we got at the very least 3" of snow and its still snowing now and the bad part, tomarow it will be all gone, it will be 54 out. is that crazy?? today it was 45 out. but tonight it just had a freak thing. LOL

My hyacinth has opened up fully now! (at least one of them has!) Yay! :O) I can't wait for all the spring flowers to start blooming. I've got tulips & crocus coming up...they should be so pretty in a few weeks!

we got to go shopping!! tomarrow is his appt with the doc, so we'll go with him and see what she has to say! and go to lowe's afterward!! YAY!! i saw some calla lily's at walmart, i really wanted to get some, but, i had to be all responsible and all, i totally sucked!! LOL but i did get some chamomile tea and some sleepytime tea for the kiddo's it'll calm them down. no more like friday!! AHHHH that was downrite aweful!! they need to sell that by the casefull instead of the little 10 baggers or however many! it won't last long at all!!

Believe it or not....I am really depressed this morning. Down in the dumps. Can't seem to make myself shake it. *Ugh* Blue is a good word for it, I suppose. I think, I've just HAD it with stuff. Period. :O) If things in my family (especially the hubby's side) would just calm down...even if for a day or two....UGH again. It's like dominoes...one falls, and then they all just keep tumbling, the next one faster than the last. Gee Whiz. Between all the institutionalizing the Aunts (yes, plural), the affairs, breakups, depressed babys that are being juggled between grandparents & parents fighting for custody, lying, fighting, arrests...and just plain disfunction. And I've found most of this out in the last 24 hours.
And that's on TOP of everything in my own family circle.

Any one else ever want to run away??

LOL but my email is always open for ya!! my family used to be nuts!! now we are calm for a change!! which is weird!! LOL now they are all having babies so i guess they are being have!! LOL gee they couln't do that when i was pregnant!! they all had to be friggen nuts!! and back stabbin and sh** like that!! but (breath in breath out) now its been 6yrs and we all grew up. i got 2 blueberry plants!! i hope they grow good!! and some more purple passion asparagus!! LOL but i bought the asparagus at wallyworld. and the blueberry at lowes. i hope to get some more stuff at walmart sometime soon. they have alot of bulb stuff!! and some orange phlox!!! i never saw that befor!! how cool is that?? LOL
dh starts his 10-6 shift today. well tonight. its kinda really sad!! he'll sleep all day to work all night and we'll never see him just so he don't have to bother with the inmates! gee i hope its worth it!! but he chose this one he had the choice to chose another shift and he told me he could change in a year.

Who is doing the March swap? Does anyone know yet? Fishy have you received the box I sent? DC says it was delivered on the 19th, a week ago. I think that was the only box that this swap has been waiting on, if I am wrong please let me know.

LOL, as soon as I saw uranus (not yours medo, lol) I nearly spit my coffee out giggling. My shoulders are still shaking from the silent giggles. Yep, still too early for plants. Around here they recommend not planting until after May 3rd or so. Depends on when the last frost is. Last year we had a lot of warm dry spring weather and then a hard frost in mid/late May. That caught me by surprise and I lost all the buds on the hydrangea. Bulbs are still safe though. I think I have a few fragrant seeds in my collection. Too funny about Grant. Every group of crazy comics needs a good straight man!

Ha, ha, ha! My poor William had to do a report on Uranus last year for school! I'm glad he didn't ask for help, because I always have trouble keeping a straight face with that one!! Did anyone else hear silent (as much as you could) giggling when they talked about it in school? Ugh!

Another snow day here! My kids are going to have to make up so much school at the end of the year!! The high school girls basketball team is playing in the state tournament this afternoon (my brother in law is an assistant coach), so school was supposed to be dismissed at 12:45 today anyway. When we saw this morning that there was going to be a 2 hour delay, I thought that was pretty rediculous! My kids would have had to ride the bus for 2 hours (between on the way and back) to go to school for 2 1/2 hours! I was certainly glad that they ended up canceling! Dave just called after heading to the shop, and said that there are several places where the road is almost drifted closed, so I'm sure they had no choice but to cancel! But wow! I haven't kept track, but I'll bet we have had at least 6 or 7 snow days already, if not more! And their week long spring break is "guaranteed", so they can't take those days to make up for snow days. Pretty crazy!!

Okay, I've recovered from my giggling episode enough to talk about my day yesterday. (aren't ya excited?? LOL)

Bowen's 9th birthday was yesterday, so I made his favorite...A milk chocolate & peanut butter cake..with chocolate icing & peanut butter chips on top. With Reese's peanut butter ice cream. Can you tell the boy likes peanut butter??! Ugh, there is only so much PB I can stand...so I had a teeny tiny sliver of cake & a spoon of ice cream. And even that was too much. LOL But he thought he'd died and gone to heaven....and that's all that matters, after all! :O)

We've decided to homeschool Bowen for the last 9 weeks of the school year. Their spring break runs from the 7th to the 19th of March (they got a few extra days this year, b'c they haven't had to cancel school but once for the ice/snow) and the new 9 week quarter begins after that. So, between us & his teacher...who REALLY hates to see Bowen go, he really likes the little guy...we've decided that we'd use the materials they have at the school, and just work at his own pace at home. Leave it up to me to decide what/when/how much for him to do. We also thought that we'd play around a bit, and maybe let him be a part time student, and go to school for 2 days out of the week.
Basically, we're using these 9 weeks as a trial period, I guess. Just to see what might work best. Based on how well he does now, we'll decide what to do next school year.

We have a snow day here too. The whole city of Cleveland is freaking out because the Democratic debate is being hosted downtown today. They are trying to keep the streets clear but it is a losing battle right now. I don't know how deep the snow is here either, Becki. The picture is of my dogwood tree in the front yard.

Uranus themed swap? The only items I will accept are pictures of sweet little baby tushies! LOL!

The boys have confiscated the coconut monkey that you sent! They love it and have decided to keep it for themselves! LOL! It is now on display in their bedroom on the dresser. I have to confess, the pottery professor thought my pea pod was a "taco"... I told him he needs to go visit the produce dept. sometime. The coconut monkey cracked me up for no apperant reason, so I thought to share the chuckle, and the sunshine. I'm so glad you liked it, I was rather disapointed when the 1st box went astray.

I Need to meet that professor so he can show me a green taco! LOL! I have never seen one of those before! LOL! He is obviously not well acquainted with his vegies!
