| Hello,
I am now taking sign-ups for Fat Round Robin 3. This Robin will have seeds from Round 1 and 2 that are in flight right now. By the time that the Two robins that are in flight get back to me I will already have a list of people ready for the Robin 3. Guidelines
6. Please make sure that all seed packets are sealed good so that the seeds don't come out of the packets. 7. Make sure that each player gives me there mailing address, email address, and phone number. 8. Please make sure that you are watching for the Round Robin. When it is near your time to receive that Round Robin that you let the group know 9. Make sure that if you had received the round Robin that you tell the group. 10. There will be a tracking number on the Round Robin 11. Have fun!!!!!!!! Players for the Fat Round Robin 3

| Jennifer, Please correct me if I'm wrong... You said the RR #2 box was going back around and here you're saying that you'll be combining both RR boxes to create a third RR. So, the RR #2 box will not be going back around to those 10 people that are signed up for that particular RR?? Em |

| This is what I am doing I am going to put the two robins together to make a Fat Robin. maybe not everyone wants to do it the second time around. This way those that would like to do so can sign up again but this Robin it will include all the seeds from both Robins that are in flight now. Plus this will give more seeds for the Robin. | Jennifer, I would sure like to play, and I've read back through the first two threads; and I'm a noob and all that; but I can't figure out how many seeds/pkts I need to have available to sign up for the robin? I read somebody put in 100 packets - heck I don't even have 25 packets of stuff I'm planting - but I do have a few bunches of seed I've collected and some extra commercial perennial seed. I understand the concept of contribute to the box an equivalent of what you take; but I would not want to take a spot from somebody with more to offer the box. Oh, and with the exception of beautyberry seed; I can't make a packet of 25 seeds; but can do some 10's. Or I could send somebody a chayote seed :) ~dianne |

| dianne you are welcome to join in and don't worry about it if you don't have very many packets to put in. I just want you to enjoy. | Jennifer-just a thought.... You could keep taking sign ups & see how long we can keep the bird in flight for! Maybe til 1st day of spring? You couldn't possible put all the DC's in the box but just have to state that they MUST post dc's as they ship.... Might actually be less work for you that way. You would however have to keep updating the flight path as people sign up & email addresses to us instead of being in the box. IDK- could be a nightmare but also really fun to see how long it stays in flight! You're the hostess-not meaning to step on your toes! Just offering up a fun version of round robin.... Entirely up to you!!! You seem VERY organized so I'm sure you could figure out a way to make it work!! But ENTIRELY your decision! Just a thought I had..... THANKS FOR HOSTING! These RR's have been fun to participate in! |

| Dcj24 i added u to fat robin. Yes i am going to keep signing people up and see how many players we can get and what i will do is have the robin come back to me a few times that way i can check on the robin but that is only if we have a big list. Also what each player can do is look on each haves and want tradea and email with has and wants and then the seeds can be added in the robin with the players name on them. |

| I have a question.. how long are seeds good for? If the box goes around all spring/summer will the seeds from '10 be ok to plant the following spring/wintersowing in '12? I'm never sure of a seeds shelf/sowing life. Also, I've heard that many keep daylily seeds in the fridge? Deb |

| Deb,Ive sown seeds that have been 2 or 3 years old and still got good germination.I keep all my seeds in the fridge.Some seeds need to be sown when they are fresh,but others will keep for a while.Hope this helps. |

| The seeds should be fine with only a very few exceptions and I won't be using them until 2012 anyway but I am getting a bit concerned that this will become too large to manage. If it gets much bigger I may opt out...but that is just me. Alana |

| I started thinking about the cost too-- we need to keep it in a flat rate box, or it's going to cost a small fortune to ship. With both boxes combined, we are going to need a flat rate large right now. I know-- I had both the round robins last week. ;) I would definately expect large flatrate prices, unless we go to first class (the box now is priority.) It's going to be ONE fat little robin! | hello it is your host and i am sorry that i have not doing updates for those of u that said that u want to join are on the list. i am going to put a close on this robin since we have alot signed up. i am going to make sure that the robin is in a large flat rate box. i am not able to post updates on the players since i am using my cell phone. i will keepcheck back sign up for this robin is closed not taking anymore sign ups. i will post the updated list as soon as i can. jennifer |
