Spring Me A Surprise
This is a surprise swap so please don't post who you are sending seeds to. You do not need to send seeds to join, just post your top 5 wants. If possible try and find at least one other to send to. RULES:
2. Send me your GW name and your address in an email. I will send out a spreadsheet of addresses by email on February 28th of all requests by GW name with their addresses so you can send seeds. Try to mail out the seeds during the first week of March. 3. Have Fun! LIST OF SEED REQUESTS:

| oh yeah (That would be the second email I send with the title that says CORRECTED) on it. It was not going through because of one email address I misspelled. (Kept kicking the whole thing back) My work email let it go through and just sent me a reply saying that the one email address was invaild so we got it now. Yeah. | I will be going thru my seeds this week and seeing what matches up to who....and like Lisa and Alana said before, some of mine will come out of my private stash so there may only be a small amount of seeds. I dont mind getting only a few seeds especially when it is something I really want :) Hope to get some envys out in the mail in the next few days if the snow ever stops LOL!! Donna ;) |

| I dont think any of you need to apologize for sending small amounts, if it is on someones MOOST wanted list....just a few seeds is GRAND !! I am also using seeds that I am planning on sowing,Ill be sharing half of the ones I have. Forgive me, but is there a date we HAVE to mail out by...It is gonna take me some time to work on them...I will be starting tonight. Thanks for another great swap !!! | Same here! Working on mine already, hope to have in the mail by Thursday! Any amount of seed is a blessing I have to agree, especially if it's on a most wanted list! All it takes is one good seed to grow a beautiful plant and have you set for seeds next season! I had so much going on this wkend with an ER trip and my van breaking down (AGAIN!) that I didn't get to update my list from 5 to 15. No biggie, I just didn't make it here in time, but anything from my wish list will be loved and cherished. :) Hugs, |

| I received an envie from Lisa ( Ishare) today, with such a cute little frog on the front...and inside was fleabane pink lewel, columbine pink, and ORANGE NOAH mg, which I was so excited to receive. Thank you my friend ! I plan on doing the MG on a fence near the street, I cant wait to see them ! Thanks so much to you for this swap...even if you didnt send to ME, I appreciate you all for being so kind !! Hubbie's working overtime which we can't really turn down since we don't with the economy if it will be offered in the future and both of the kids are running fever's and sick. They have missed two days of school and unless they got lot better last night, they won't be going again today. | what a blessing. It has been a rough couple days. School situations, then a friend wrecked his car last night so I had their kids for the night. Students at school have been nasty this week... So... I get home today and find two cards. I sent out cards and forgot all about this swap. This was a blessing today. Alana (Poisondartfrog) sent me the Ptiltus I wanted and the medusa pepper! Then, I opened another card from ishareflowers (Lisa) and found pink jewel , Chinese Houses for Micah, chocolate peppers, colombine magpie and coralbells. It still amazes me when these cards arrive. I have really bad day at school, and then I get home and this happens. Thank you both so much... Mark |

One from Dan with Mina Lobata, and one from Elizabeth (zabecc) with morning glories, 2 kinds of hardy hibiscus, cosmos "picotee", lavender beardtongue, portulacas (which my mom really wanted because they reminded her of her mom, so thank you!), alcea rosea hollyhock, swamp milkweed, and orange butterfly weed. | nope, I don't mind. gardening is all about giving, sharing, and teaching, and that's what you're doing with your niece. how cool! I remember my Aunt Lorraine sharing her love of gardening and fish aquariums with me when I was a youngster, and I'm glad I've got those memories of her! I just wish I could tell her that I sometimes combine the two by turning my largest aquarium into a terrarium, but she's not around anymore. But, before she died, she gave my mother a part of her snowball bush, which has grown HUGE, and I've got a start off of that one growing in my yard now, so it's kind of like having her still with us. So, go ahead and share the seeds and create memories. You never know how it'll turn out, making those memories with the next generation. Who knows? Maybe they'll grow up to join us here on the GW! LOL! |

Overwhelmed lately with seed activities since I am in several RRs and also this time of year is a seed sowing time for me! :) No surprises in my mailbox yet, but a little bird told me that one is on the way to me! Mail takes a little bit longer to get to Hawaii, so sometimes I get news by birdie, before the seeds actually arrive. ;) |

Linda - Sent a beautiful card with Fiber optic grass (Awesome - been wanting this for a while), astilbe pale pink and a new seed she wanted me to try called calendula kablouna. Thanks sooo much. Angela - Sent me some more Penny Black YEAH! I was hoping to get some more of this. I have been wanting this for a while and am soooo estatic about getting it. I want to put it all over the yard. | I wanted to wait till I had a few to post so here we go: On Thursday of last week I got a lovely selection of Delphinium, Zinnia, and garlic chives from, susantexoma - Thank you! On Saturday I got some black hollyhock, purple columbine, and yellow columbine, from dan the mailman - Thank you! Also on Saturday I got a wonderful selection of hollyhocks, columbines, and sweet peas from, zabecc - Thank you! Yesterday I got some columbine limefrost from, appaloosa - Thank you! Yesterday I also got some zinnia, columbine, hollyhock, and sweet pea from, yotetrapper - Thank you! And a you are very welcome from those you have recieved my packages. I am going to have a very lovely garden this year and the next, and hopefully the next time this round robin happens agian I will be able to pass these seeds along from my own garden. kris |

| I received an envy today! The envelope was shredded, as was the bubble wrap inside and the seed baggie. The seeds were completely dust. I'm sorry Angela. You had it really well wrapped in bubble wrap, these things happen though I guess : (. Thank you anyways though, for thinking of sending to me. Sometimes, I wonder how something can get so shredded like that in the mail. You'd think they put it through a wood chipper or something! I'm sorry, I dont know what kind of seeds they were, the name you wrote was on shredded pieces of paper. Its ok though, I'm glad you were thinking of me. I tell my son when I pick him up that I have to go to the post office and he tells me, It's ok Mom, I know the routine..... You're obsessed. LOL Tammy, I am glad you like my label cards. I wish I had had more ready for this swap, but I was running out. I print them myself using an old print shop program. The idea came to me in the middle of the night once and I started using them. I used to hate the little ziplock baggies. LOL I have even received a few back in trades. It is supposed to rain tonight, but maybe tomorrow I can get some sowing done outdoors. I don't have any more indoor spots......... |

| Today I'd like to thank Kamil for the seeds I received today in the mail! He sent a cosmos mix, red turk's cap, scabiosa, marigolds, perennial lupine, and disco belle red hibiscus. THANKS KAMIL!!! On another note, I came home today and found that my cats had been into the dried catnip. The small bag (about 4-6 ounces) had been ripped open and scattered all around the office. My 4-month old kitten was hanging around the refrigerator, and the 16-month old kitten (neither will be fully grown until they're 4 years old) was laying on the office printer, his eyes glazed, just enjoying life. If he were any mellower, he'd be wanting to go buy a bong! LOL! |

| Yotetrapper, its fine, dont worry! I'm glad you thought of me, so I wanted to make sure I thanked you for the thought anyway. Its been happening a lot with my postal service, we got a new lady and she doesnt come until almost 5 oclock now and everything lately has been all smashed. One of my bills came the other day and it was completely ripped open and all over. : ( It was kind of everyone who sent to me to share their seeds with me. I have been lurking around, I got a few things from this swap so I'm all set for spring! I planted too many seeds in my greenhouse already, I dont know what I'm going to do with them all until I can set them out! Guess I'll have to buy some bigger pots! Also, I have a question: Some of the people I want to send to I dont have their last names. Will the post office take it if the persons first name is on there only? That's why I am so late getting mine out because I wasn't sure if they would take them or not and I haven't gotten tot he post office lately to ask. |

| Riley, The post office will still deliver them as long as you write out the address legibly. Sometimes we get letters with no name, or to "Grandma", and then we rely on the address to get it to the correct Grandma. | I received a surprise today from Chris (grolikecrazy)! Thank you. :) The plain letter envelope had holes in it- looks like it was damaged in transit. There was no bubble wrap or other padding inside of it to cushion the seeds. Seeds sent to me with no bubbles almost always do get destroyed like this, because the PO runs mail through some hard metal rollers unless it's in a bubble mailer marked FRAGILE in big red letters. :( The Dianthus barbatus seeds were about 75% destroyed and the Red Noodle Yard Long Bean seeds were completely dust. Thank you grolikecrazy, for kindly sending to me. I can still sow the few Dianthus seeds that made it, and hopefully get some plants! Excited about that. :) I'm sorry this happened, Chris. You were so kind to send seeds to me. I'm very glad you were thinking of me, and some of the Dianthus seeds do appear to be usable. It made my day to receive this, even if it is just a few seeds. : ) Thanks, Wondering why the surprises I mailed out haven't shown up here yet. I do hope they didn't get lost in the mail. |

| I recieved two envies yesterday! The stuff got mixed up when I dumped them out, so I'm not sure whats is from who. Here goes: grolikecrazy I think sent me Utah celery, fennel, parsely, and sesame : ) Thanks! The other one I think says its from C. (forgive me if I get this wrong) : ) Wehb? C.
