| Would anybody be interested in a shade plant exchange? It would be open to plants only - rooted cuttings, divisions, whole plants... what have you. A list of wants may be posted, but part of the thrill will be on the discovery of a new item for your garden. Named plants would be preferred. However, if you're not particular, and want to fill in an area, be specific. Participants may send and receive not only plants, but also books, magazines, and garden decor related to shade plants.
How does this sound? Something you'd be interested in? Please post here. If there's enough interest I'll start a new thread with the final details. If you have any suggestions for this swap, I'd be happy to hear from you! Post it here and we can incorporate some reasonable ones into the swap!

| I would be interested in this swap. I have three acres and about 1/3 of it is shaded by trees or buildings. Anyone have any Columbines or Hostas...and hints on how to keep the deer away from them?? |
